The Center for Knowledge Societies (CKS), founded in 2002, is an innovation consulting firm based in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Patna. It brings together expertise on ethnography, design and user experience to create new and valuable products and services for end users in emerging economies all over the world. Since its establishment, CKS has worked in an array of sectors including Healthcare, Telecom, Financial Services, Home D├ęcor and Appliances, Aviation, and Automobile Design.
CKS is currently looking to hire a Senior Design Researcher to manage a service design project aiming to understand service design in the telecom, public utility and e-governance sectors, and make ICT based recommendations to enhance client relationship management systems within them.
Designation: Senior Design Researcher (with capabilities to manage medium - large projects)
Location: Delhi
Experience: 3-5 years
Joining Date: January-February
Educational Qualifications: Masters Degree in social science (anthropology, sociology, psychology) / design (candidates with interdisciplinary backgrounds or experience with technology and service design will be preferred) or 3-5 years of experience working in and managing design research projects.
Required Skills:
1. Superior qualitative research and / or design skills and superior analytical abilities
2. Good planning and time management skills for effective project management
3. Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking
4. Very strong written and verbal communication skills for proposal / report / publication / blog writing and
5. client presentation
6. An understanding and interest in ICT for Development will be an added advantage
Job Responsibilities:
1. Managing end to end project delivery by providing strategic guidance to the team and handling client expectations
2. Oversee project development from the planning stages to completion
3. Define project tasks and resource requirements
4. Manage project budget and project resource allocation
5. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
6. Handling client demands pro-actively
