Senior/Legal Associate

An excellent opportunity has risen for Mid-Senior Legal Associates with an interest in cryptocurrency and an opportunity to go in-house. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of PQE experience working either in corporate law or financial service institutions focusing on corporate finance related matter.

The candidate must have experience in managing legal documents at a sophisticated capacity. Primary responsibilities will include giving accurate and timely legal advise to senior stakeholders in a variety of issues, as well as conducting research on competitor analysis and market entry licensing, for example. It is critical that the right candidate have a strong ability to prioritize multiple requirements, while being a consummate team player.

This role will be an ideal fit for a candidate who is interested in the blockchain sector and passionate about being directly involved in global legal and compliance issues with a quickly expanding firm.


Giving accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics
Collaborating with management to devise efficient defense strategies
Specifying internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation


BSc degree in Law or BBA
Must have Blockchain / Cryptocurrency / Startup experience or passion and curiosity to learn about the sector
Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
Outstanding communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; Mandarin and Cantonese is desirable
